"ShujogBuddy" is an AI-assisted opportunity discovery platform that helps Bangladeshi students find verified scholarships, internships, competitions, and programs matched to their eligibility, goals, and readiness.
The problem
Many Bangladeshi university students struggle not only to find scholarships, internships, competitions, fellowships, and career opportunities, but also to understand which ones are suitable for them and how to successfully apply.
Opportunities are scattered across websites, social media, and different platforms, making it difficult for students to identify authentic and relevant options. Even after finding an opportunity, students often face challenges understanding eligibility requirements, preparing documents, writing strong applications, improving their CVs, and presenting themselves effectively.
This problem becomes critical when students have limited time before deadlines or lack access to proper mentorship and guidance. Existing platforms mainly provide opportunity listings but do not offer personalized recommendations, application support, or preparation guidance.
As a result, many students miss valuable opportunities not because they lack potential, but because they lack information, direction, and preparation.
The solution
ShujogBuddy is an AI-assisted opportunity discovery and application preparation platform that helps Bangladeshi students find, evaluate, and successfully apply for scholarships, internships, competitions, fellowships, and career-building programs.
Unlike traditional opportunity listing platforms, ShujogBuddy acts as both a discovery engine and a personal application consultant. The platform connects students with verified opportunities from trusted sources while analyzing their academic background, skills, interests, and career goals to identify opportunities that match their profile.
After finding suitable opportunities, ShujogBuddy guides students through the entire application journey. It explains eligibility requirements, highlights missing qualifications, creates personalized preparation checklists, provides application guidelines, and helps students improve important materials such as CVs, motivation letters, and application responses.
The platform uses transparent scoring systems including eligibility status, opportunity match score, readiness score, and quality indicators to help students understand why an opportunity fits them and what steps they need to take before applying. Opportunities are verified through structured quality checks to ensure accurate information, reliable sources, active deadlines, and clear requirements.
AI assistance is used for tasks such as extracting information, summarizing requirements, and providing personalized guidance. However, critical decisions such as eligibility verification and opportunity approval remain controlled through defined rules and human review to maintain reliability.
ShujogBuddy bridges the gap between discovering opportunities and achieving them by providing students with the right opportunities, the right preparation strategy, and step-by-step guidance to improve their chances of success.

Gemini , ChatGPT and Lovable were used during the development process for architecture planning, interface generation, coding assistance, research, documentation, and review.
AI is used as a development and assistance tool. In the product itself, AI features will be limited to extraction, summarization, and guidance. Eligibility decisions, opportunity verification, and publishing approval remain rule-based and human-reviewed.
