TruthVote is a community-driven web platform designed to encourage responsible discussions and reduce the impact of misinformation. Users sign in with Google, browse public profiles, and participate in community opinion polls by voting and leaving comments. The platform visualizes community perception using real-time vote percentages and provides a dedicated discussion section for each profile. Unlike traditional social media feeds where opinions and facts are mixed together, TruthVote separates community opinion from verified information and encourages users to verify claims through reliable sources before forming conclusions. All votes and comments are securely stored in Firebase, while the modern interface makes participation simple and accessible. TruthVote promotes transparency, respectful dialogue, and critical thinking, helping users better understand public sentiment without presenting community opinions as verified facts.
